After trading out of the first round Thursday night, the Eagles gave Indianapolis a second-round pick (No. 52) and fifth-round pick (No. 169) to get Goedert at No. 49.
Goedert had 1,111 receiving yards in his senior season at SDSU.
The former Philadelphia Eagles kicker stepped up to the podium during the second round of the draft to annouce the team's pick, but before he did, he trolled the absolute hell of Cowboys fans.
Eagles player personnel chief Joe Douglas was impressed with Goedert's size and agility for a big man.
"I think both him and I can be put anywhere on the field so the offense can have the best mismatch available", Goedert said.
Goedert also is a buddy of Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who texted him shortly after the pick.

Schwartz likes to spread out players in his front four and turn them loose on quarterbacks.
Goedert's Senior Bowl week was cut short because of a hamstring injury, which kept him from running the 40-yard dash at the combine and his pro day. Goedert said he started to tear up after he received the call from the Eagles.
"Hey Dallas, they last time you were in a Super Bowl these picks weren't even born yet!""He's been around the building talking to us about him a little bit".
