Rimac says beneath the carbon fibre bodywork of the new C Two is a 120kWh battery and four electric motors that develop a combined 1,887bhp - or more than twice the power of the new Ferrari 488 Pista.
The front wheels have a single-speed transmission as in conventional electric cars while the rear wheels get a 2-speed gearbox.
With a stiff carbon fiber monocoque foundation, carbon fiber roof, rear sub frame and structural 120-kilowatt-hour battery pack, the C Two has been developed to also be capable on a race track. The wheels are aerodynamically designed for low drag and efficient motor cooling.
There's an all-wheel-drive vectoring system to replace ESP which means you can have a rear-biased, drifting auto on a track day or a four-wheel-drive road vehicle in slippery conditions.

After a shadowy tease, Rimac has unveiled the Concept Two, a hypercar EV with an off-the-wall insane 1,914 horsepower. The Concept Two will have Level 4 self-driving capability, according to Rimac founder Mate Rimac, though we'll believe that when we see it (there are now zero road cars with that capability). With the help of 8 cameras, LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), 6 Radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors for lane assist and automatic braking, the Rimac Concept Two can drive on its own. The GPS coordinates assists during cornering and braking as per the track layout. The vehicle can also monitor weather and road conditions to automatically adjust suspension and all-wheel drive performance accordingly.
The Rimac C_Two is clearly aimed at the Tesla Roadster which shocked the world with its insane acceleration figures.
Production of the Rimac C_Two is limited to around 100 units, each costing over $1.25 million.
Rimac says it has advanced autonomous capability.
