In another interesting and rather fascinating twist in the ongoing, roller-coaster saga between the San Antonio Spurs and Kawhi Leonard, it appears that Leonard is actually planning on staying with the Spurs.
The Spurs forward, who has not played since January 13 and has only featured in nine games all season because of quadriceps tendinopathy, is set to resume limited workouts this week.
The 26-year-old Leonard won't be joining the Spurs on the upcoming three-game road trip, which kicks off Thursday against the Golden State Warriors, followed by games at Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.
