Microsoft is testing a big new update for the Xbox One dashboard with Xbox Insiders today. Over the next several weeks, Xbox Insiders will begin to see a variety of cool new features they can interact with and provide feedback on.
There are a few other changes expected to roll out to Xbox One users alongside this, including some new additions to the Guide menu relating to your achievements and the games you're playing. There are sort filters that allow you to prioritize next Achievements by closest, most common, rarest, most common rare, and highest Gamerscore. Will be able to access content for games you've played recently from a Game Hub without ever having to leave the action. These Mini Game Hubs contain the same content seen in regular hubs, such as Achievements, friend activity and so on.
The update will also add a "Do Not Disturb" online status, to let friends know you're now unavailable, while the community feed has also been tweaked to make it easier to view.
It can take a bit for the features on the Insider program to make it to everyone, but these are some nice quality of life improvements. The community feed has been tweaked to make reading comments much easier, and the "Next Achievements" feature is now accessible in the Guide so you can "view and sort a cross-games list of upcoming Achievements". Additional inactivity shutdown options are also being added, letting users determine whether the Xbox One should shut down at two, three, four, or five hours, with the one or six options sticking around too.
