The Rs 399 plan will get a boost in validity, the plan that used to offer 1GB data for 70 days will now provide 84GB data for 84 days.
The Rs 509 plan, offers a validity of 91 days similar to the one provided by Reliance Jio but with more validity. It has also enhanced the data limit to 1.5 GB from 1 GB for select plans, effective January 9, sources said. The pack offers unlimited voice calls and national free roaming. The validity of the pack remains the same, 28 days. Under the new plan, users will get up to 3.5GB 4G data per day. The validity of this plan will be 84 days.
India's leading telecom operator Airtel also made the same changes to its Rs 448 and Rs 509 open market tariff plans. In short, customers can avail 1GB data per day in addition to unlimited calling and SMS for that duration.
