Louis area will continue to feel arctic temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees for the lows early Saturday and wind chills of 2 and 3 degrees below zero, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Patrick Walsh.
A period of freezing rain or sleet is possible late Sunday into early Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS is warning that the mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain could cause hazardous travel on Sunday. There's a slight chance of rain or snow showers after midnight but Danielson said it won't amount to anything.
Saturday is expected to see a high of 40 degrees, and a low of around 23, while Sunday's high is expected to be slightly warmer, at 43.
