The U.N.'s 193-member General Assembly on December 21 adopted a resolution on Jerusalem with an overwhelming majority of them calling on the USA to withdraw its recognition of the city as the capital of Israel.

The result of the vote also riled Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called the United Nations a "house of lies".
