Ahead of CES 2018, LG has given us a sneak peek of a few upcoming monitors - all of which feature cutting-edge technology to deliver imagery with unparalleled detail and fidelity. LG defines Nano IPS as "the application of nanometer-sized particles to the screen's LED to absorb excess light wavelengths".
Model 34WK95U supports Nano IPS technology, fantastic color reproduction capabilities and HDR600.
The first monitor in the series named LG 32UK950 and it will be sporting a 32-inch 4K UHD display with 98 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

LG 32UK950 is said to be ideal for media creators as it comes with HDR600 support and peak brightness of 600 candela. In fact it is the first Thunderbolt 3 docking display to support 4K daisy chaining. It boasts LG's signature Edge-ArcLine Stand and a 4-Side Edge Borderless Design for a better overall viewing experience.
Tim Alessi, head of product marketing at LG Electronics USA said, "Most of us spend hundreds of hours in front of monitors every month, yet it's one of the least likely products to get upgraded when higher productivity is desired". Now, it's time that they expand the reach of this technology, and thus, the company has made a decision to give a touch of Nano-IPS to its wide range of monitors as well. LG also plans to unveil the 34WK95U, another HDR 600 monitor, this time a flat 34-inch 5K (5,120x2,160) Nano IPS display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, which is expected to raise the standards in the monitor screen market. Interestingly, the LG monitors will not only get video and audio across, but also charge a laptop from its power connector, meaning you can leave your MacBook Pro charge adaptor at home and let the LG monitor do the job. The Thunderbolt 3 port is also very versatile so it allows notebook connections or transmit 4K content with just a single wire. Pricing and availability information has not yet been revealed.
