The final season of Netflix's show "House of Cards" is set for a 2018 release without Kevin Spacey.
"We are excited to bring closure to fans", Sarandos said.
Production on the show was shut down in November after the allegations against Spacey were reported, and Media Rights Capital announced on Nov. 26 that production would be suspended until December 8.
Spacey was sacked after allegations of sexual misconduct on the set of the show and off.
Current and former employees who worked on House of Cards told CNN that Spacey would target young men on the production team with "nonconsensual touching and crude comments".
